Meet Kia Lorece Smith — aerospace executive, author, speaker, and creator of The World of Kia Podcast. As a Regional Supplier Quality Manager at Boeing, Kia leads a team supporting more than 200 suppliers contributing to military aircraft, satellites, and space systems. Her career spans leadership roles with NASA, Raytheon, and Eaton, impacting programs valued at more than $60M.

Recognized nationally for excellence in engineering, leadership, and community impact, Kia is the recipient of multiple honors including the 2026 BEYA Science Spectrum Trailblazer Award and the 2024 Boeing Champion Award for Safety and Quality. Beyond corporate leadership, she is passionate about empowering others through mentorship, scholarship initiatives, authorship, and authentic conversations that celebrate Black excellence.
